Norman Foster & Richard Rogers have perhaps more than any other architects defined London in the late 20th and early 21st century; their buildings are celebrated and their divergent paths can be traced back to when they first encountered each other whilst studying at Yale.

Chapter Three: The Brutalist Bad Boy
Built on a bomb site, the Barbican is a masterpiece of brutalist storytelling.
Chapter Four: English Baroque Brilliance
During his career it is said that Sir Christopher Wren regretted that he had abandoned medical science for a less lucrative career as an architect but London can thank him for remaining dedicated to the cause; perhaps the greatest architectural reboot in London’s history is his to claim.
Chapter Five: History Under Construction
Fleet Street is an iconic, historic passage into the heat of the City of London and now its going through a reinvention. We look critically at the challenges that this poses to its heritage and future paths.
