The London Storyteller is working on a new project and is reaching out to budding storytellers and historians alike to join his team to help him make it happen.

The Project
A comprehensive book exploring how London’s people, places and personalities have shaped the world in an engaging format that provides a comprehensive introduction to the city’s history.

We will be publishing this in written and audiobook formats, as well as looking other ways in which we can engage audiences through multimedia platforms.

The Role
Our Interns will work with guidance from The London Storyteller in sourcing interesting events and dates relating to the content. This is a mainly research based role, which we hope will open up to opportunities to learn about multimedia production techniques, which we can also provide guidance on.

About You
We love enthusiasm and a passion for curiosity. We don’t mind whether you are a budding student or of a finer vintage looking to discover something new. Your educational background and qualifications are not something that we will pre-judge you on.

A willingness to learn is pretty critical though as this is an internship role as is an interest in history too.

What We Offer
We will try our best to offer you a structured environment in which to achieve success for this project including guidance on research techniques and on the job training relating to its delivery across a range of functions.

We will credit you in the work produced and if we achieve the business goals that we are working toward then we are open to creating an ongoing, flexible role or other opportunties with future projects.

We will happily stand as a referee for successful applicants; we believe that your success is a measure of our own.

We are happy to offer one to one monthly mentoring sessions relating to research, storytelling and multimedia based production.

How To Apply
Please send an introductory email to info@thelondonstoryteller.com to register your interest including your phone number and we will set up an initial telephone interview which will be conducted on an informal basis. We would love to hear more about you and your interest in the role.

You may wish to attach a CV to this email but this is not considered compulsory.
